Kacper Budnik

A graduate of the Wrocław University of Technology, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanics and Machine Design and Materials Engineering. During his studies he was active in the Academic Aviation Club. In 2015-2017 he managed the scientific circle. He took part in international unmanned aircraft competition at SAE Aero Design in the United States where his team was very successful. He coordinated the VTOL unmanned system construction project designed to perform medical missions, which took third place in the international arena during the UAV Challenge in Australia. He represented the university during conferences and trade fairs. During the last year of studies, together with Jan Byrtek, he founded the BZB UAS company. The company started very dynamically winning the competition organized by the Wroclaw Technology Park: "Why start up a business", another achievement was participation in the MIT Enterprise Forum Poland acceleration and establishing cooperation with PGNiG, where the KOLIBER system was implemented. As BZB UAS, Kacper and Jan won the competition thanks to which they implement a project co-financed by the National Center for Research and Development titled: "Development of an innovative VTOL type air system for monitoring agricultural, forest and landscape areas".
Many times appreciated and awarded, among others Through the Lower Silesian Capital Club he received the "Young Talents" award in 2018. Participant of the 4th edition of the "Startup in the Palace" project organized by the office of the President of the Republic of Poland. At BZB UAS he is also responsible for contact with key partners, system presentation, contact with strategic partners, and supervision of project work. In his spare time he plays volleyball, goes skiing, and kitesurf.
